Born in Hidalgo, Mexico, I grew up immersed in a rich culinary tradition, where the connection between special people, special occasions, and great food thrives.I came to the United States in 1997, and built my career in New York City. Beginning as a dishwasher, I worked my way through the kitchen, and eventually began my career in leadership as a Head Chef in 2010.I have led culinary operations for restaurants in New York and in Austin, including Le Zie (New York), Lobster Joint (New York), El Paso Restaurant Group (New York), and Captain Pete's Boathouse (Lago Vista).While I cook in a variety of styles, my first loves are Italian cuisine and Mexican cuisine. Outside of work, I am a husband and a proud father of five.
